Why isn't there live coverage of the Iraqi and Afghan wars?

The Government learned in Viet Nam, a daily dose of the war on the TV News works really well to help the peace movement gain strength in middle America. What astonishes (and irritates) me is once Obama was elected the Peace movement seems to have disappeared even though Obama has not ended either war..
