I attended an Indy show saw a match type: What do you think of this?

I was recently at an indy show where I saw a three consecutive falls match. The concept was simple (this was not a match), The winner was the first person to pin or his opponent three times in a row without getting the chain of pins or submissions broken. I did not like the match because of the wrestlers involved, but if it was a match like HBK vs. Y2J for example: I think this might be a pretty cool matchtype. It was called a death match (but since death match has various meanings in wrestling) this match was just a regular match with pins and submissions.
