I need some Christmas decorating ideas?

I want to jazz up the house for my 3 year old. I want to make Christmas a lot of fun for her (kind of dropped the ball on Halloween this year) so I want to decorate. But I'm at a loss on where to start. We will have a nice tree, stockings, maybe a couple of wreaths...but what else can I do? Not talking about tacky lawn ornaments...just some things that still makes the inside of the house look good. Suggestions please? If you have links that'd be great too....
