Omg!!! what would you do if....?

well, my ex we broke up like a year ago.he said it was because i was boring but i think it was becasue he thought i was cheating because my friend told him that i was writting love notes to other guys but she was just playying and he took her serious and broke up with me the next day...so i tried getting him back by asking him out but he always rejected me and said he dont like me. but this year...he's always staring at me. his best friend sits behind me in homeroom and so i was telling my friend about how me n my bf broke up, so that same day his bestfriend tried to get me to talk to him and all i said was hi. so the other day when was talking to my recent ex, he was looking at me and i turned my back and i turned back around and he was surrounded by all these girls. so i dont see him at lunch anymore ever since he saw me and my recent ex talking and one day i saw him looking at me out of the corner of his eyes...and at breakfast he kept looking at me and looking down. Does this sound like he like me, and if it does then why would he reject me and what should i do? i love him so much.
