One of my Ugg boots got soaked, What can I do?

No rude comments from rude people please. Ok so my friend and I were throwing snow and this bigger kid started to chase us so we ran across a frozen creek but the ice broke and my one ugg boot went all the way in the water and got soaked inside and out. Its air drying now and has been for awhile but its turning all dark in alot of areas. the boot color is chestnut. They were waterproofed but with the amount of water and being submerged in water like it was the waterproofing didnt help.How do i get the chestnut color back and the nasty dark hard crappy spots to go away?
